SUMMARY:Fall Native Plant Sale and Monarch Fest
LOCATION:San Marcos Discovery Center\, 430 Riverside Drive\, San Marcos\,
  TX\, 78666
DESCRIPTION:Did you know Central Texas is in the heart of a flyway for ma
ny migrating species of birds and insects\, including the monarch butter
fly? That means we are lucky enough to witness a diversity of migrating
species when the time is right. Join us and see what San Marcos as a cit
y is doing to help pollinators and learn how you can get involved! Local
partners will be on site to show visitors the importance of monarch but
terflies and other pollinators that can be found in the region. Peruse o
ur Fall Native Plant Sale items and be inspired to build your own butter
fly garden and lend a helping hand to pollinators while enjoying native
flowers. We will have a monarch obstacle course\, monarch lifecycle game
s\, photo ops\, tagging games (and demonstrations if there are monarchs
flying through)\, and information on how to participate in the Texas Pol
linator Bioblitz. Fun for the whole family! The plant availability list
and plant pricing can be found online the week of the event.\nListed tim
 e: 09:00. Confirm with the organizer.\nhttps://sm-tx.com/events/evt-9lya
