Feeling creative? Join us for Let’s Get Crafty. Every other month we will gather together to work on a craft project. For the meeting in October, participants will be painting small pumpkins. This is a free event and all supplies will be provided by Austin Retina Associates and San Marcos Parks and Recreation. Let’s Get Crafty will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday, October 16, 2026 at the Paul Laurence Dunbar Center located at 801 W. MLK. Registration is required and is limited to 36. Register for Let’s Get Crafty by visiting www.sanmarcostx.gov/goparks and clicking on the Active Older Adult tab, calling 512-393-8280 or stopping by the San Marcos Activity Center. This program will fill up fast and will have people on a waitlist. If you register and are unable to attend, please withdraw so others may attend. Let’s Get Crafty will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday, October 16, 2026 at the Paul Laurence Dunbar Center.
