Welcome to Fyzical Therapy & Balance's Fight the Fall, balance and fall prevention class. At FYZICAL, fall prevention is one of the cornerstones of their mission. Their clinics across the country join together to “Fight the Fall” by spreading awareness of the danger of falls and how falls can be prevented. Join us from 12 to 1 PM at the San Marcos Activity Center on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of each month to fight your risk of falling. Each meeting will focus on static and dynamic balance, home safety, balance strategies, and education. Instructors will assess each person's level of confidence, and instruct in strengthening and strategies that are specific for balance and general stability. Wear loose, comfortable clothing with rubber-soled shoes. You can register for Fight the Fall by visiting www.sanmarcostx.gov/goparks and clicking on the Active Older Adult tab, calling 512-393-8280 or stopping by the San Marcos Activity Center.
