About this event
Join us for Around the World with Aging is Cool. Instructors from Aging Is Cool will take us on a fascinating journey across the globe. Each session will focus on a different country as we learn about its cultures, traditions, food and history. Expect surprises along the way, including the possibility to sample popular foods from each destination. These sessions will take place every other month at the San Marcos Activity Center on Friday afternoons from 2:00 to 3:00 PM. Our next stop in our trek around the world will be New Zealand! To help us plan and send reminders, registration is required. Register for Around the World by visiting www.sanmarcostx.gov/goparks and clicking on the Active Older Adult tab, calling 512-393-8280 or stopping by the San Marcos Activity Center. The next Around the World with Aging is Cool will take place from 2-3 PM on Friday, November 20.
